How has your life changed since receiving your service dog?
It’s already changed tremendously.
What is one thing you are able to do now that you couldn’t before receiving your dog?
Take walks twice a day and be in level II, III, areas, and not being sheltered at home.
Describe your daily life with your service dog?
Take daily walks in the neighborhood and attend medical appointments.
What effect has your service dog had on the relationships in your life?
I’m not feeling alone anymore, I have a sense of motivation now.
What is one thing you would tell a fellow veteran that was considering a service dog?
Don’t wait as long as I did to finally take care of me. I’ve been at the lowest points of life and having my service dog now has changed tremendously for the better and feel I have a partner for life that is with me 24 hrs a day and understands me.
