How has your life changed since receiving your service dog?

I am able to go with my daughter to her school functions. I have been out more from my house with family and by myself if I need too without getting over stressed and not completing my task. I sleep better now as well and if I start having nightmares he is there to wake me and to calm me down.

What is one thing you are able to do now that you couldn’t before receiving your dog?

Go on field trips with my daughter and do simple task of running around town for simple errands

Describe your daily life with your service dog?

Every day is different but knowing I have someone by my side has been great I am never alone.

What affect has your service dog had on the relationships in your life?

I am calmer and don’t get as irritated as I did before having Brew. He knows when to calm me down and have me relax. My family time is great I am not so stressed when we go out as a family.

What is one thing you would tell a fellow veteran that was considering a service dog?

It is well worth it. He has not only changed my life but my family as well. You notice a change overnight.
