James started his banking career in 1984 with Secor Bank, known as Regions Bank today, and continued to work in management positions
with such banks as Hibernia National Bank and Chase Bank. He also served as a Business Development Executive at Carr, Riggs &
Ingram from 2016-2019. Since, October of 2021, he has been a Small Business Banking Manager and has led the Small Business Team
and in that time, has developed core bank relationships. Prior to his promotion, he served as a Commercial Lender at Fidelity since being
hired in July of 2019. During his career he has won multiple President’s Club awards as both a manager and business banker. Along with
his banking career, he is concurrently employed at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home as an Ambassador.

• James is a native of New Orleans. He is the fifth genertion of Jacob Schoen. Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home started in
1874.
• He also has a brand, Outrageously Positive Living, which exists to promote positivity on a daily basis.
• James is s lifetimes Beach Volleyball player in the city. Played AVP in 1990 and 1992.
