Jared and Touro

How has your life changed since receiving your service dog?

I feel that I can go out and do more things than I used to be able to do.

What is one thing you are able to do now that you couldn’t before receiving your dog?

Go to public crowded places.

Describe your daily life with your service dog?

We are always together and he’s pretty much with me everywhere I go. It’s a great comfort to know he’s there and always watching out for me.

What affect has your service dog had on the relationships in your life?

Everyone loves to see Touro work and see how he interacts with me. He’s part of the family and gets along great with everyone.

What is one thing you would tell a fellow veteran that was considering a service dog?

Don’t hesitate to get a service dog if you think it would help you out.
